Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using AceTest. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AceTest ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), an AI-powered study platform for Nigerian university students. By registering for an account or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

If you are under 18 years of age, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian to use this Platform.

Description of Service

AceTest provides the following services to registered users:

Upload study materials (PDF, images, Word documents) for AI-powered quiz generation

Automated generation of quiz questions from uploaded documents using artificial intelligence

AI Tutor chat functionality that answers questions based on uploaded documents

A Community Library of study materials shared by users across Nigerian universities

Streak tracking and study habit analytics

The Platform is intended for personal, non-commercial educational use only. Features available to you depend on your subscription plan (Free, Basic, or Ultra).

Account Registration

AceTest uses Google Sign-In for all accounts. To use AceTest, you sign in with a valid Google account:

You will provide accurate and truthful information during onboarding, including your university, faculty, and department

One Google account may only be used for one AceTest account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of all accounts

You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, including its password and two-factor authentication settings

You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

You will not share your account or session with any other person

AceTest uses Google Sign-In to prevent account farming and ensure the integrity of our Community Library. Circumventing this system is a violation of these Terms.

Subscription Plans and Payments

AceTest offers the following plans:

Free: Permanent free access with a rolling weekly allowance. Includes free uploads and AI chat messages every week, forever. No trial, no expiry, no credit card required.

Basic: ₦1,500 per month. 20 uploads, 400 quiz questions, and 100 AI chat messages per month. Full Community Library access.

Ultra: ₦5,000 per month. 60 uploads, 1,200 quiz questions, and unlimited AI chat messages per month. Full Community Library access and priority AI responses.

Basic and Ultra limits are monthly, not daily, and reset on your billing date. Free plan limits reset on a rolling 7-day window. Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We accept Nigerian debit cards, bank transfers, and USSD from all major Nigerian banks.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Plan upgrades take effect immediately upon successful payment verification. AceTest never upgrades plans based on frontend actions — all upgrades are verified server-side through Paystack webhooks.

User Content and Community Library

When you upload materials to AceTest, you retain ownership of that content. By uploading study material, you grant AceTest a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and make that content available to other registered users of the Platform through the Community Library.

By agreeing to these Terms at signup, you acknowledge that materials you upload may appear in the Community Library and be studied by other Nigerian university students.

You confirm that any material you upload:

Is your own study material or material you have the right to share

Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights

Does not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content

Is relevant to academic study at a Nigerian university

AceTest reserves the right to remove any material from the Community Library that violates these Terms without notice.

Uploaded files are stored on our secure servers, even if you delete your account, to maintain the integrity of generated quizzes and the Community Library.

AI-Generated Content

AceTest uses artificial intelligence to generate quiz questions, explanations, and chat responses from your uploaded documents. You understand and agree that:

AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions

All AI responses should be verified with your textbook, lecture notes, or lecturer before relying on them for academic purposes

The AI tutor primarily answers from content in your uploaded document, and may use general academic knowledge where the document does not cover a topic

AceTest is not responsible for academic outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

Every AI response on AceTest carries the disclaimer: "AI can make mistakes. Always verify with your textbook or lecturer." This disclaimer is non-removable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AceTest to:

Upload materials containing exam malpractice content, leaked examination papers, or content that facilitates academic dishonesty

Create multiple accounts to bypass subscription limits

Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Platform

Upload malicious files intended to compromise Platform security

Harass, defame, or harm other users through the Community Library

Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent

Circumvent or attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or access controls

Violation of this section will result in immediate account termination without refund.

Intellectual Property

The AceTest platform, including its design, code, branding, AI systems, and all Platform-generated content (quiz questions, explanations, chat responses), is the exclusive intellectual property of AceTest and its owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

The AceTest name, logo, and diamond mark are proprietary marks. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

Privacy and Data Protection (NDPR)

AceTest is committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019 and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

We collect and process the following personal data: your name and email from Google Sign-In, university, faculty, department, uploaded study materials, quiz history, and usage data. This data is used solely to provide and improve the AceTest service.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties

We do not display advertisements or allow advertisers to influence Platform content

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data

Termination

AceTest reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any behaviour that compromises the Platform or its users.

Upon termination: your access to the Platform is revoked immediately, your uploaded files remain stored on our servers to protect Community Library integrity, and no refund is issued for any remaining subscription period in cases of termination for cause.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp support. Account deletion removes your profile data but uploaded materials shared to the Community Library may be retained.

Limitation of Liability

AceTest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, AceTest and its owners shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform

Academic results or outcomes influenced by AI-generated content

Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Temporary service interruptions for maintenance or technical issues

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of AceTest shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Platform in the three months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

AceTest operates in compliance with Nigerian law including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and the Consumer Protection Council Act.
